Settings

General

• Launch at login: Start AnySearch automatically when you log in
• Global hotkey: Customize the keyboard shortcut to summon AnySearch
• Quick Search hotkey: Customize the Quick Search panel shortcut

Indexing

• Indexed directories: Choose which folders AnySearch scans
• Excluded directories: Folders to skip during indexing (defaults: .Trash, .git, node_modules, Library/Caches, and other system directories)
• Rebuild index: Force a complete re-scan of all indexed directories

AnySearch uses progressive indexing — priority directories (Desktop, Documents, Downloads) are indexed first. The index updates automatically via file system monitoring.

Appearance

• Result display: Configure how search results are shown
• Sort order: Default sort field (name, path, size, or date) and direction

Manage your AnySearch Pro subscription. View your current plan, expiration date, and restore purchases from the Mac App Store.
